The Tropical Park Derby

Let’s hope this stays off the synthetic and on the grass. It is Florida and Gulfstream Park, so we never know.

Live High Live Low comes out of two sprints and has the rail to work with. He should be sharp and set for a good race. He is a little cheap but has improved enough where that should not be a problem and with a win over the course I see him as a serious contender. This is not the toughest field.

Full Nelson is a bit off form since coming back from a break. His best races put him in this, and he does know how to win. At his best he has speed and if he turns that on, he can make some noise. I am skeptical with good reason I think, but he would not shock me by any means.

Palm Tree looks like he has some upside and does come from Godolphin. If he is ready to take a step forward, he is dangerous but that is a question mark for me.

Brawn is steady but looks to be just a small cut below a few in here. He is not hopeless, but I prefer others.

Fidelightcayut is another who is just a small cut below a few of these.

In a Jam likes this course and has some class. He can get a piece for sure, but I do not think he is the winner.

Ninja Star has been running on the synthetic against lesser. He can handle grass, but I will pass.

Silent Heart should get an ideal type of trip here stalking and pouncing. He has upside and ran a big one to build off last time out. I think he is the one they must beat.

Cugino simply was left with too much to do last out and was probably best. He should sit a better trip this time and he is also second off the lay-off. I think he is the other one sitting on a big race.

Can Group is fresh but would need a wake up call. I will take a stand against that happening.

For me it came down to Silent Heart and Cugino. I will give my nod to Cugino off that last race.
